Kyle Jordan has boosted his side with the reutrn of fans favourite Lee Hill.
Hill joins the Tigers for his third spell in amber and black and is a welcome signing as he helps plug the void at left-back following the long-term injury of Niall Smith, who broke his collarbone last month.
Hill first represented the Tigers in the 2017/18 season when he was brought into the club from Maltby Main.
The versatile defender then left at the end of the season to join Handsworth, but felt he had unfinished business with the Tigers and re-joined in January 2019, playing a big role in Worksop’s famous NCEL League and Cup double. An interesting statistic was that he never lost a game with the Tigers during that spell.
Hill again left Sandy Lane at the end of the season, however Kyle Jordan has persuaded Hill to re-register with his side to help out when he is available.
A delighted Kyle Jordan stated: “Obviously, I’m really pleased that Lee has agreed to come in and help us out when he can.
“He is great cover should we find ourselves in a bit of an injury crisis again like we did a few weeks back.
“It is important people don’t expect too much from him. He has chosen to have time out this year with good reason, however I know we can rely on him to run through walls for us if we need him to.
“He is hugely popular both with the lads and the fans, so I am absolutely delighted he has registered again.”
“Hilly” has created some fantastic memories for the Tigers, for example, scoring that free-kick against Albion Sports or his overhead kick against Harrogate Railway Athletic at home.
